Blue Oval homes are structures designated by the Arlington Historical Commission as historically or architecturally significant. There are approximately 1,200 such structures in the Town of Arlington.

Per S. Galley’s serial installments on Nina Winn’s diary, this house was apparently moved on April 25, 1912:
“The Alvin Robbins house [*] being moved
to Russell St & cut in two & front part on
sidewalk.”
It would be interesting to know if there are other pictures or descriptions of that event!
